Amateur Radio Repeater on the International Space Station
There is an Amateur Radio Repeater on the International Space Station that is open for use by all hams.
You will need to use your computer or smartphone to track the ISS, so you know when it is going to be “overhead”, so that you can use the repeater.
Available comm times range from 90 seconds to 8 minutes, depending on where the station’s orbit is during the pass that you are using.
The UPLINK frequency (you transmit to the ISS) is:
145.990 MHz with a PL of 67.0
The DOWNLINK frequency (you listen here) is:
437.800 MHz.
